Nutri Feeds & Farms (P) Ltd., is an integrated poultry company. It is involved in poultry breeding, hatching, broiler contract farming, feed manufacturing and retailing of poultry meat.
Nutri Feeds & Farms (P) Ltd., also sells hatching eggs, day old chicks, animal feeds, and broiler birds. Nutri Feeds & Farms (P) Ltd., was started in 1987.
The Company is managed by a team of Veterinary doctors, field Supervisors, Marketing Managers, Accountants and Breeding experts.
After the success of our breeder farms, we have started a hatchery for the eggs produced at our farms. The company started what is known as ‘integrated divisions’, where day-old chicks are delivered to farmers’ sheds. Food, medicine and technical assistance is provided to every farmer. At the end of rearing, the farmer is paid for the services. The fully-grown birds are then hand-picked by the company and sold to the traders.
Additionally, the company started an automated feed plant to satisfy the ever increasing feed demand.
We have also established a retail chain where fresh meat from farm grown birds are directly available to consumers.
Subsequently, the infrastructure for controlling feed quality and ensuring the professional rearing of birds was remodeled with two new laboratories. One of which conducts proximal analysis of feed and raw materials. The other is a microbiology lab that conducts essential tests needed for hatcheries, farms and retail shops.

MCR. Shetty is the founder of Nutri Feeds & Farms Pvt. Ltd., He is a first generation entrepreneur of 40 years of standing, he is Managing Director of Nutri Feeds & Farms (P) Ltd., He has introduced in his enterprises a comprehensive R & D work which was instrumental in his unit to assume a premier position in these segments in addition to acquiring the status of a professional manufacturing unit in these fields.
Sri Shetty has been associated with KASSIA [KARNATAKA SMALL SCALE INDUSTRIES ASSOCIATION] for over a decade and has made notable contribution to the progress of small industry movement in Karnataka. He served as President of KASSIA.

Mr Shyam S. Udupa is the Marketing Director of the company with rich marketing experience in TATA Oil mills Co. Ltd., Rallies India Ltd., India Poultry Farm.
With three decades of experience in Marketing similar products in TATA Oil Mills Co. Ltd., Rallies India Ltd.,and India poultry Farm, he looks after marketing operations with a team of marketing personnel and looks after day to day Administration of Nutri Feeds & farms (P) Ltd.

Dr. G.B.Puttannaiah is the technical Director of the company, M.V.S.C. PHD- Director Technical – Four decades of varied experience in Teaching Research & Extension areas, a Former Professor of Pathology at Veterinary College, Bangalore and has worked as Research Scientist with CIBA GIEGY and a leading Toxicologist. Dr. G.B.Puttannaiah looks after breeding, hatching and technical services .
He has been awarded best veterinarian of the year in 1993 by Karnataka Veterinary Association. He has written many scientific papers in Scientific Journals.
